HubSpot integration installation guide

This guide outlines the process for installing and configuring the HubSpot integration with DealHub. The integration allows for seamless synchronization between the two platforms, enabling users to create and manage quotes directly from HubSpot deals.

The setup process involves three main stages:

1. Configuring integration settings within DealHub.

2. Installing the DealHub application in your HubSpot account.

3. Verifying the integration.

Prerequisites

Before beginning the installation, ensure the following requirements are met:

• HubSpot Account: You must have an enterprise-level HubSpot account with at least one product defined.

• HubSpot Instance ID: You will need the Instance ID from your HubSpot account.

Locating the HubSpot Instance ID:

1. Log in to HubSpot.

2. Click the account name in the top-right corner of the navigation bar.

3. The Instance ID is displayed in the dropdown menu under the account name.

Setup

Step 1: Configure Integration Settings in DealHub

There are two methods to configure these settings, depending on your DealHub version.

For Accounts Using "Integrations & Add-ons"

1. Navigate to Control Panel → Integrations & Add-ons.
   

   

2. Select HubSpot and click Setup.
   

   

3. Enter the HubSpot Instance ID retrieved in the prerequisite step and click Next.
   

   

4. Confirm the integration by clicking Integrate.
   

   

   • A confirmation message will appear indicating HubSpot is integrated with your account.
     

     

For Accounts Using Older Versions

1. Navigate to System Settings.

2. Scroll down to the 'Integration Configuration' section.
   

   

3. Enter the HubSpot Instance ID in the designated field.

4. Click Save.

Step 2: Install the DealHub App in HubSpot

The DealHub App package installs the necessary components in HubSpot, including the buttons required to launch DealHub from a deal.

1. Log in to your HubSpot account.

2. Click the Marketplace icon in the main navigation bar and select App Marketplace.
   

   

3. Search for 'DealHub CPQ'.

4. On the application page, click Install App.
   

   

5. Select the account you wish to integrate and click Choose Account.
   

   

6. On the confirmation screen, click Connect App.
   

   

7. Upon successful installation, you will be redirected to a confirmation page stating that the integration was set successfully.

Step 3: Testing the Integration

To ensure the systems are communicating correctly:

1. Open a Deal in HubSpot.

2. Locate the DealHub box on the right-hand sidebar.

3. Verify that the buttons to View and Create quotes are visible.
   

   

4. Click on one of the buttons to confirm that it redirects you to the DealHub environment.

Uninstalling the DealHub CPQ App

If you need to remove the integration:

1. In HubSpot, click the Marketplace icon in the navigation bar.

   

2. Select Connected Apps.

3. Search for DealHub CPQ.

4. Click the Actions menu and select Uninstall.

   

5. To verify, type 'uninstall' in the prompt and click the Uninstall button.
